Summary
What are taxable prizes
This is a common question that several customers have when setting up their prizes list. Some customers have symbolic prizes like a customized mug or a little celebration. Those are certainly not taxable, but sometimes the prize is a gift card or money and then, it is a little bit more complex.
This can vary from country to country and even from state to state. Your best shot will be always consulting your accounting team.
Crewhu offers a solution to segregate the taxable and non-taxable prizes in a report. To learn how to configure a prize as taxable, see this article: How to manage Crewhu Prizes.
Taxable Prizes report
To check your taxable prizes redeemed during a determined time period, go to Reports > Bucks Redeemed:
On this report page, pick your timeframe and consider you may need to enable the data for inactive users, in case someone left the team during this time.
You will see a total of bucks redeemed, and columns showing how much is taxable, according to your configuration on the Prizes list.
If you need more details, you can expand the data and export a CSV.
Keep in mind that every 100 Crewhu Bucks equals 1 USD.
