Requirements
- Crewhu Badass or Grow plan;
- Access to edit Crewhu survey settings;
- A ConnectWise license and permissions to "add" API members;
- An active ConnectWise REST API integration (if you haven't set up your ConnectWise API integration yet, start here first: Connectwise Integration - REST API).
Introduction
To integrate ConnectWise with Metrics Bridge, you need to assign additional permissions to the Crewhu API connection. This article will guide you through the necessary permissions and how to configure them within the ConnectWise platform.
Updating the permissions
In your ConnectWise account, look at the bottom of the left sidebar, open System > Security Roles, and then search for "Crewhu" in the Name column and click on it:
You must be sure that the following permissions are set:
Create access to the following Security Role in the Companies dropdown:
Companies > Company Maintenance - Inquire Level: All
Companies > Contacts - Inquire Level: All
Companies > CRM/Sales Activities - Inquire Level: All
Companies > Surveys - Add, Edit, Delete, and Inquire Level: All
Create access to the following Security Role in the Finance dropdown:
Finance > Billing Rate Maintenance - Inquire Level: All
Finance > Billing View Time - Inquire Level: All
Create access to the following Security Role in the Project dropdown:
Project > Close Project Tickets - Inquire Level: All
Project > Close Projects - Inquire Level: All
Project > Project Finance - Inquire Level: All
Project > Project Phase - Inquire Level: All
Project > Project Scheduling - Inquire Level: All
Project > Project Teams - Inquire Level: All
Project > Project Ticket Tasks - Inquire Level: All
Project > Project Tickets - Inquire Level: All
Create access to the following Security Role in the Sales dropdown:
Sales > Opportunity - Inquire Level: All
Create access to the following Security Role in the Service Desk dropdown:
Service Desk > Close Service Tickets - Inquire Level: All
Service Desk > Service Tickets - Edit and Inquire Level: All
Service Desk > Service Tickets - Finance - Inquire Level: All
Service Desk > SLA Dashboard - Inquire Level: All
Create access to the following Security Role in the System dropdown:
System > API Reports - Inquire Level: All
System > Member Maintenance - Inquire Level: All
System > Member Maintenance - Finance - Inquire Level: All
System > My Company - Inquire Level: All
System > Table Setup - Add, Edit, Delete, and Inquire Level: All
Still in the System dropdown, click on the "customize" button on the Table Setup option:
And then give access to the following tables:
Company / Configuration
Company / Management
Company / State
General / Calendar
General / Calendar Sync
General / Custom Fields
General / Holiday
Project / Project Board
Service / Service Board
Service / SLA
Service / Surveys - Service
And hit Save.
Create access to the following Security Role in the Time & Expense dropdown:
Time & Expense > Expense Report Entry - Inquire Level: All
Time & Expense > Time Entry - Inquire Level: All
Time & Expense > Time Entry Billable Option - Inquire Level: All
Check if every permission is set correctly, then Click to Save:
That's it! With these permissions, Trends will be ready to work on your account :D
