Introduction

You’ll need access to the WiseStamp signature editor and the employee’s Crewhu Hub account, with a signature survey available under Settings > Snippets.

Important: Each employee must use their own Crewhu signature snippet. Reusing one person’s snippet for the whole company can credit all responses to that one person.

Getting the Signature Survey

Go to the Crewhu Hub. Click your profile photo in the upper right corner, then select Settings.

In Settings, open Snippets. Locate your signature survey under Email Snippet and click Copy HTML. In
the example below, the Image Snippet is selected.

Note:
Click Copy HTML rather than the adjacent Copy button. The WiseStamp HTML element needs the source code, not the rendered snippet. 

Adding the Survey on WiseStamp

In WiseStamp, click Edit signature. On the Setup screen shown below, the button is under Edit your
signature.

In the editor’s left menu, click Apps, then select HTML.

Paste the Crewhu HTML you copied earlier into the Code field, then click Apply code. Keep the survey links and identifiers unchanged.

Preview the signature and confirm the survey images and rating links appear. Save your changes and complete the WiseStamp installation or deployment for the email account you want to use.

Send a test email from that account. Open it as the recipient, submit a test rating, and check the resulting survey in Crewhu. Confirm it’s recorded as a Signature survey and credited to the intended employee.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Code Appears as Text 

Paste it into Apps > HTML, then click Apply code. Don’t paste source code into a regular text element.

The Survey is Missing From the Email

Check that your changes were saved and that the correct signature is installed or deployed to the sending account.

Images or Links Don’t Work

Compare the received email with the preview. Email clients can render custom HTML differently. Recopy the original snippet if the code was changed.

The Wrong Employee Receives Credit

Replace the snippet with the intended employee’s HTML from Crewhu Hub > Settings > Snippets.
