Introduction
Integrations connect Crewhu to the tools your MSP already uses, such as PSAs, documentation platforms, and client portals. All integration credentials are managed in one place, the Integration Settings page, and each Crewhu product uses them to read or update data in those tools.
This article shows how to create and manage an integration. For setup details and required permissions of each tool, check Crewhu Integrations List.
Note:
For this guide, you'll need permission to access the Integrations Settings in Crewhu and credentials for the tool you want to connect, created with the permissions described in that tool's article.
-
Creating an Integration
- In the left sidebar, under Settings, go to General > Integrations.
- On the Integration Settings page, scroll to the Integrations section and click Add.
- In the Setup Integration panel, select the tool in Type.
- Enter a Name. You can create more than one integration of the same type, so use a name that tells them apart.
- Fill in the credential fields. They change with the selected type: for ConnectWise (REST), for example, they are Integrator Server, Company Name, Public Key and Private Key. The article for each tool explains where to find these values.
- Click Test Integration. Crewhu validates the credentials and, for integrations such as ConnectWise, lists the permissions found, grouped by Crewhu product. The Documentation link at the bottom of the list opens the permissions article for that tool.
- Click Save.
The new integration appears in the Integrations section with its name, type, an Edit button, and an Active toggle.
-
Editing an Integration
Click Edit next to the integration, update the fields, click Test Integration and then Save.
The type can't be changed. To connect a different tool, create a new integration.
-
Activating and Deactivating an Integration
Use the Active toggle next to the integration.
An inactive integration is no longer available for selection, and the Crewhu features that use it stop working until you activate it again.
Note:
For a list of all Crewhu's integrations and their respective guides, check Crewhu Integrations List.
