Summary
Requirements
- Any Crewhu plan
- Permission to access the "Integration" module
Why is this feature important to you?
Security and control is essential for you and for us. That's why we've created a place where the credentials for all the integrations you'll use on Crewhu will be centralized and where you'll be able to manage them simply and quickly.
Setting up a new integration
Click SETTINGS > General > Integrations on the menu:
Locate the “Integrations” section in the Integrations Settings page:
Click on the “Add” button in the “Integrations” section:
A side window opens. This is where you will add the integration data. In Type, select the external system you want to integrate (in this example we will use Connectwise REST):
Add a name to the integration. Remember that you can add as many credentials as you want, so it is important to add a name that demonstrates exactly what these credentials will be used for used:
Add the other integration data. The fields will be displayed according to the selected “Type”. In the case of Connectwise REST, the fields are “Integrator Server”, “Company Name”, “Public Key” and “Private Key”. Other types of integrations will require different fields. After adding all this information, click on “Test Integration”. If everything is OK, a success message will be displayed.
Note:
Some types of integrations will display specific permissions so that you can have greater security control over your credentials. In the example below, you can see the detail of an integration with ConnectWise:
After testing the integration, you can save it by clicking on the “Save” button located at the bottom of the screen. A success message will be displayed:
From there, the credentials created are already available in the “Integrations” section of the Integrations Settings page:
Editing an integration
Choose the integration you want to change and click on it the respective “Edit” button
The “Setup Integration” side window will be displayed with the integration data already filled in. Change them according to your needs and, at the end, click on “Test Integration” and then “Save”. Soon, the data will be updated.
Note:
It is not possible to change the type of integration while editing. For this, it is necessary to create a new integration with the desired type.
Activating/deactivating an integration
Select the integration whose status you want to change and update it using the respective toggle button. Inactive credentials are not displayed for selection in integrations and integrations that have these credentials will not work.
