Introduction

The employee ID serves as a unique identifier that allows Crewhu to assign received surveys to specific employees. The ID is obtained on the PSA and needs to be added to the corresponding employee profile within Crewhu. Without the employee ID, the surveys will come as "UNKNOWN".

 

Each integration (PSA) has a specific identification for each employee. It can be a number, it can be first name and last name, or it can be an email.

The goal of this article is to gather all of our integrations, showing where to find the employee ID for each one of them. 

 

Employee ID for each Integration Partner

ConnectWise (REST)

Go to System > Members > Check the member ID for each employee and add them to Crewhu Employee ID.

Autotask (REST)

Go to Admin > Resources (Users) > Resource ID for each employee

Zendesk (REST)

Go to Admin page > People > Team Members > Click on the team member and check the ID in the URL and select the ID for each employee

 

Option 2: Go to Zendesk and click on the employee's profile to see the URL and find the ID:

Go to Configuration > Teams & Agents > Agents and select the email for each employee

ITGlue

IT Glue integration is based on the employee's email, and not the employee ID, so the employee's email must be a match in both Crewhu and IT Glue;

Freshdesk

You can access the User ID (or the Responder ID) for an agent in Freshservice using a couple of easy steps.

Go to Admin> Agents and click on the agent's name. The number you see in the URL here is the Agent ID.

 

Add ".json" right after the agent ID in the URL and hit Enter to get the user ID.

Employee ID = [First Name]{Last Name}         (Without space ⚠️)
