The scope determines which data you have access to. There are 3 scope levels:
- All company - the profile has access to all data in the company
- Locations and teams managed by the user - the profile has access to only the user data that belong to the locations and teams that they manage. This is defined and can be managed in the user record (Setup >Employees > then click on employee record from the list.
- Only user information - this profile only has access to their user information. This is the lowest scope level.
See the screenshot below which highlights the scope levels:
Profile Permissions
Profile permissions determine what you can do to the data in your scope. Permissions are broken into 5 categories:
Settings Permissions
Setting permissions have to do with all the settings listed in the settings submenu. These permissions are normally reserved only for the Crewhu administrator and sometimes for other members of the executive team. Only a profile with all company scope has access to these permissions. By default, the "Admin" profile is the only profile with access to "Settings."
See the screenshot below that highlights the settings submenu:
- Modules - A module is a group of features. This is where you can turn modules on/off. If a module is turned off the feature and associated pages will not be available to the user.
- Surveys - Where you configure survey settings. Normally the users in charge of implementation and management have access to this setting.
- Dashboard - used to configure and launch Crewhu big screen dashboards.
- Badges - where you configure badge settings such as default values, badge level by profile, recognition award scope, and badge allowance.
- Cafe- defines the scope of the cafe feed for the profile and which profile can post important messages.
