Summary
This guide will show you how to send a reply survey when a project is finished by creating a workflow rule on ConnectWise.
For this example, we used a weekly workflow and two different statuses for closed projects to decrease the possibility of duplicated notifications, by making the rule change the status from "Completed" to "Closed" before sending the email.

Requirements
Before starting to configure your workflow, you need to create a Custom CSAT to configure the CSAT Project Snippet. To create your Custom CSAT, refer to this link.
Also, you'll need the CSAT Custom snippet, which can only be provided by support. If you still do not have yours, contact support at support@crewhu.com.
Creating a project status:
- Go to System > Setup Tables and search for "project status":
- Click the add button to create a new status:

Creating a workflow rule:
- Go to System > Setup Tables and search for "workflow":
- Click the add button to create a new workflow:
- The rule created for this walkthrough is set to weekly search for projects with "Completed" status, change their status to "Closed" and then send an email with the snippet for the reply survey:
To learn more about this we suggest you read the Workflow Rules Setup Table on CW knowledge base. - After defining the rules, run the schedule, and choose the "Send email" action as the last on the list. You will see the pop-up displayed below..

1 - Choose who will receive the email notification with the survey. (CW default drop-down menu for this option);
2 - Choose who will be the email sender. (CW default drop-down menu for this option);
3 - The default subject can be set using placeholders.;
4 - Click the "Source" button;
5 - Paste the Crewhu custom snippet for the Project board in the correct place;
6 - To see a preview unclick the "Source" button;
Click the "Save & Close" button. - Test the event before activating to see how many projects will be affected by the rule. Clicking the "View Results" button will download a CSV with details.
CSV model - Click "Activate now":
- You will see the pop-up displayed below.
1 - Enter a time in Run Every;
2 - Select Days, Hours, or Minutes from the Period drop-down;
3 - Select a time frame from the During drop-down;
Click the "Save & Close" button.
- The workflow status will be displayed at the top of the overview:
