How to create Automated Anniversary Badges
1. Go to Setup > Badges and click on Add.
2. On the Add Badge page:
- Type: select Anniversary from the dropdown menu
- Image: you can either upload an image or pick one from the library. If you upload it, our recommendation is the following image size: width = 128px; height = 128px
- Name: choose a name for the Anniversary badge
- Description: add a short description of the badge
- Message: write a message to the employee to be displayed next to the Automated Badge
- Value: set the badge frequency and value. On the image below the function "Every" was used to reward 5000 Crewhu Bucks automatically to the employees on their company anniversary
- Scope: you can use the same badge for the whole company or create different automated badges for different Locations, Teams, and Positions.
- Click Save.
Note:
You can use 3 different functions ("Every", "On", and "From") or a combination of functions to define the frequency and value of anniversary badges. Also, note that the rules of the value and function or combination are described at the end of each line (i.e. "Every 1 year gets 5000", as highlighted on the image below)
Note:
As opposed to the peer recognition badges where users need to write a message describing the reason for the badge, the message on automated badges is fixed and defined when the automated badge is created.

Anniversary Badges using combined functions
It is possible to set the frequency and values of Automated Anniversary Badges using a combination of functions to cover all necessary scenarios with only one badge.
The functions available are:
- Every: i.e. every 1 year, every 3 years, etc.
- On: i.e. on year 3, on year 9
- From: i.e. from year 1 to 5, from year 10 to 20
To combine the functions click on the "+" sign at the end of the Value line. Click on "-" to remove the function.
On the example below:
- The function "On" was used twice to reward $50.00 on the 5th anniversary and another to reward 10000 Crewhu Bucks ($100.00) on the 10th anniversary.
- The function "From" was also used twice to reward employees with a 1000 Crewhu Bucks from their 6th to 9th company anniversary and 2000 Crewhu Bucks from their 11th to 20th company anniversary.
- "Every" was used to reward $10.00 to each employee on their company anniversary.
Important:
Functions are cumulative. In this example, the rule "every 1 year gets 1000" will add an extra reward of $10.00 every year to all other rewards. In other words, according to the rules above, on their 5th-anniversary employees will get 1 automated badge of 6000 Crewhu Bucks.
