Introduction
Crewhu Contests help teams set goals, monitor performance, and encourage friendly competition. If Microsoft Teams is connected, Crewhu can also notify the team when key contest events occur.
In this article, you will learn how to track your contest's progress and how to publish them inside MS Teams.
View Contest Progress in Crewhu
Participants can monitor their current contests by logging in to Crewhu and going to Hub > My Leaderboards. The page shows the contests they are participating in, their progress, and their standing compared with other participants.
Important: If an administrator creates a contest but is not participating in it, the contest will not appear under My Leaderboards. Administrators can review it from the Contest List instead.
Share Contest Notifications in MS Teams
If the Crewhu account is connected to Microsoft Teams, you can enable Café Messages and Crewhu can post contest-related notifications.
To do that, go to Settings > Integration and open the configured Microsoft Teams integration. Select Post Café messages, then choose Contests or Leaderboards in the Café Messages field.
What Is Posted to Microsoft Teams
Crewhu sends Microsoft Teams notifications when a contest is published or rewarded. Café Messages do not display a live leaderboard and do not continuously update participant progress.
For the latest standings, participants should open My Leaderboards in Crewhu or use the optional Teams tab described below.
Optional: Add My Leaderboards as a Teams Tab
Adding My Leaderboards to a Microsoft Teams channel gives employees direct access to contest standings without leaving Teams. In the appropriate Teams channel, select the plus sign (+) at the top of the channel, then choose Website.
Name the tab My Leaderboards, enter https://web.crewhu.com/#/my-contests in the URL field, and select Save.
Note:
Each employee may need to add or configure the tab in their own Microsoft Teams environment. If the tab is not available, participants can always access My Leaderboards directly in Crewhu.
