Introduction
With prizes, you can create a customized store and offer personalized and meaningful prizes to your team for a job well done. And this can be easily done by separating the prizes by location, so each company location will have its own prizes for the employees to redeem.
Note:
Refer to our Prize Automation feature where you can process your prizes automatically.
Manual Prizes
With Manual Prizes, you have full creative control: you build the catalog yourself, so you can add anything from gift cards to a day off or a company t-shirt, naming and pricing each prize however you like.
Setting the location for a manual prize is simple, since it's just a field on the prize itself, no separate request needed.
To set an individual prize's location, go through the following steps:
- Go to Settings > Prize List.
- Click on +Add to create a new prize, or click over an existing prize to edit it.
- Select the prize's location in the location drop-down field:
- Click on Save.
If you have many prizes to manage, instead of opening and saving each prize individually, you can select multiple prizes at once from the Prizes List and set their location or activate them together in a single action.
To use bulk actions:
- Go to your Prizes List.
- Select the checkbox next to each prize you want to update. You can select as many as you need across the list or use the checkbox at the top of the column to select every prize currently shown.
- Click on the Actions button at the top right of the list.
- Select the location you want to use and click "Confirm".
After setting up the prizes by location, when going to the Hub prize catalogue, the employees will only see the prizes from their specific location:
Automated Prizes
With Automated Prizes, prizes come from our pre-built, currency-specific catalogs. By default, you only have access to prizes that are from the same location and currency that you have set on your Prize Settings.
If your company has employees from multiple countries, with the Grow subscription plan you have the opportunity to use the Multilocation feature.
This feature lets you offer each location its own catalog of prizes in the local currency, giving every team a rewards experience tailored to their region.
How to Enable Multilocation
New countries and currencies aren't self-service — they need to be requested through our support team. To request one:
- Reach out to your Customer Success Manager or open a ticket with our support team at support@crewhu.com, letting us know the country and currency you'd like added.
- Our team will confirm if the region is available and add the new catalog to your account.
Once the setup is complete, support will let you know the new country is live, and you'll be ready to move on to activating the prizes.

Set Location and Activate New Prizes
Once your new country has been released, its prizes will show up in your Prizes List, but they'll all be inactive by default.
You'll need to review the catalog and activate the ones you want your team to be able to redeem. If you're only activating a handful of prizes, doing this one by one works fine. If you're setting up a full catalog for a new country, the bulk actions will save you a lot of time.
To use bulk actions:
- Go to your Prizes List > Automated Prizes.
- Select the checkbox next to each prize you want to update. You can select as many as you need across the list or use the checkbox at the top of the column to select every prize currently shown.
- Click on the Actions button at the top right of the list.
From the Actions menu, you'll see three options, each with an all and a selected choice:
- Mark as Active: activates the prizes, making them available for your team to redeem.
- Mark as Inactive: deactivates the prizes, removing them from the store.
- Set Location: assigns a location to the prizes, without changing their active/inactive status.
Selected applies the action only to the prizes you checked. All applies it to every prize matching your current list filter, so use it with caution.
This is especially useful right after a new country is released: filter or search the Prizes List for the new country, select the relevant prizes, and use Mark as Active - selected to activate the whole batch in one pass instead of going prize by prize.
Note:
Bulk actions apply to whatever prizes are currently selected (or, with the all option, to your current filtered list), so double-check your selection before confirming, especially if you're managing catalogs for more than one country.
