Summary
-
Requirements
- By default, the dashboard is available to the admin and manager profiles.
- The dashboard was designed to be viewed by a manager on their computer and not to be posted on a big screen. There are big screen dashboards designed for this purpose.
-
How it Works
A dashboard is a data visualization tool that allows the users to understand the analytics that matters to their business and/or department.
In this article, it'll be explained the information provided in the main management dashboard in Crewhu and how to make this data useful to managers.
The management is in Dashboards > Dashboard, on the left aligned vertical menu. See screenshot below:
We will refer to the management dashboard simply as "dashboard" for the remainder of this article.
-
Profiles and Scopes
Default rules to keep in mind:
- The scope of the default admin profile is "all company" so admin profiles will have access to all data;
- The scope of the default manager profile is "locations and teams managed by user". Therefore managers will only see data of their direct reports and not the entire company.
If these rules do not meet your requirements, you can create custom profiles with custom scopes. When creating a custom profile remember these three rules related to scope:
- A profile with "all company" scope will be able to see all company data on their dashboard;
- A profile with "locations and teams managed by user" will only be able to see data of their direct reports;
- A profile with the scope "only user information" will not have access to the dashboard.

Dashboard Filters
Here are the options available for the dashboard filters:
- Timeframe - You can filter by a preset or rolling timeframe;
- Scope - You can filter the numbers by boards, locations and/or teams;
- Group by - Widgets that have tables can be grouped by locations, teams, locations and teams, or employees to quickly and easily see how each group is performing without having to pull a report.
- Unit - You will be able to see numbers in % or # form where relevant.

This is a great widget to manage subscriptions because it tracks active users. It also helps with onboarding because it tracks who has created a login and who has a picture.
- Employees - Quantity of all time employees including inactive users.
- Active employees - The quantity of all active employees based on the chosen timeframe and scope.
- Not signed up - users who have not created a login. Users create a log-in by clicking on a link in an email sent by your company Crewhu admin.
- No app - Not applicable yet. Once our mobile app is launched for Crewhu 2.0 it will keep track of all users that downloaded the mobile app.
- No employee photo - It will track the number of employees without a photo. The photo is used for the survey (if this feature is turned on). The photo also will default as the user's internal photo unless the user uploads an avatar.
